Little Duck saw a giant puddle. It sparkled like a diamond.

He jumped in with a big splash! But the water was deep and cold.

Little Duck climbed out, shivering. He saw smaller puddles nearby.

He tried a medium puddle. It was full of sticky mud.

Then he found a tiny, shallow puddle in the warm sun. A frog sat on a lily pad beside it.

Little Duck smiled. The biggest puddle wasn't the best—this small one was just right for him.
