Leo woke up and stretched. But his shadow zipped away, out the door.
His shadow skipped across the grass. It chased a butterfly and danced with daisies.
Leo called, "Come back!" But the shadow giggled and hid behind the big oak tree.
Leo sat down with a sigh. The shadow peeked a little closer.
Leo smiled and held out a dandelion. The shadow hugged him tight.
Hand in hand, they walked home. "Let's play tomorrow," Leo whispered.
