Leo and Lily found a secret place, a big old tree with a hollow face.
“Let’s make a library for all the animals!” Lily whispered, and Leo nodded with a grin.
They gathered little books and placed them on a stump shelf, cozy and snug.
A squirrel scampered in, then a rabbit hopped near. A bird perched on the branch to read.
A possum hung upside down, turning pages with a tiny paw. Everyone loved the hollow tree.
As stars appeared, fireflies lit the library. The gully animals whispered, “Thank you.”
